There have been a lot of runs I haven't felt like starting but I've never regretted doing a run...

Training Sessions

These training sessions are designed to get you out of your comfort zone. Have you hit a plateau? Board of running the same routes, at the same pace?

Sessions are a great way to add variety to your running. In the forms of intervals, tempo and progression runs you can push yourself for short periods.

Each session has notes to help but feel free to mix things up as these are only suggestions!

  1. Do them on a track, flat road, off-road or hills.
  2. Start off with the introductory versions. Week on week build a habit of increasing the number of repetitions, cycles or distance/time you do.
  3. Variety is key, so throw in the odd off-road or hills session if you’re always on the road.
  4. Warm up and cool down is important, don’t skip these.
  5. Focus on good form and consistency, aiming to finish strong.
